$79 a month to stop rebuilding the same report
Free solves this month's file. The subscription remembers the work and applies it to the next one.
- Your invoice columns stay connected to the SRP fields
- Contract number, SINs and fixed values stay filled
- Known items bring back their manufacturer, part number and unit data
- The official template is kept current when GSA republishes it
- Every produced file stays with its date and totals
- Unlimited monthly reports, lines and contracts
- Zero-sales month in one click
- Deadline and quarterly IFF reminders as a secondary safeguard
A calendar can remind you. That is not what the subscription is for.
The validator is free and stays free: upload an export, see every error and download the finished official file. The subscription is for work that would otherwise repeat. It keeps the decisions you made while preparing the first report — which invoice column belongs in each SRP field, which values are fixed for the contract, and which product data belongs to a known item.
Month one teaches the account. Month two is an upload, a review of the exceptions and a download — not another setup.
| Next reporting month | Free validator | Subscription |
|---|---|---|
| Column mapping | Set it again | Loaded for that contract |
| Contract and SIN values | Enter them again | Already filled |
| Known item data | Correct it again | Reused from the catalogue |
| Previous file and totals | Keep them yourself | Stored with the filing record |
| Template change | Find and rebuild against it | Maintained in the service |
When the free validator is the better choice
If this is a one-off report, or your month contains only a handful of lines, use the free validator. The subscription is for a report that repeats every month, a catalogue that keeps coming back, or several contracts that should not be rebuilt from scratch. No minimum term, no setup fee, no per-line charge and no sales call.
What you are actually choosing between
Almost nobody hires a consultant for the sales report alone. The real alternative is that somebody in your office does it by hand, twelve times a year — so that is the first row.
| Option | Cost a year | What it really involves |
|---|---|---|
| By hand the usual choice |
12+ hours | An hour a month retyping an export into a template that forbids formulas — plus the month the portal rejects it and you do it twice, plus the fact that one person in the company knows how and they take holidays. |
| TDR Filer | $948 | Month to month, cancel any time. First month establishes the mapping and catalogue; from month two the saved setup does the repeated part. |
| GSA Schedule Services | $1,500 | Retainer for the whole contract. The sales report is one line in the package — worth it if you want the rest, expensive if you only want this. |
| Blackfyre | $3,588 | $299/month with a 12-month commitment. |

Download an example file this tool produced — 199 lines in the official v4.2 template. Open it next to the blank template from the portal: same sheets, same column names, same order, no formulas anywhere. Or run your own export through the free validator and download the real thing.
